Logs off after only a few seconds
My computer starts up fine and goes to the "Welcome" screen. After I click on my user name, it goes to my page but there aren't any icons up or the start menu bar. After about 2-3 seconds, the computer logs off and goes back to the welcome screen without me doing anything.
I have a Dell Dimension E520. |

This could be a corrupted user profile.

As recommended, see http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic58138.html Please move to the Virus and Malware Removal board and attach the logs to your post there. |
