Kaspersky antivir.
5 years old compter. No changes from 2003 in devices.

My trouble is :
For the start :
^^ dont know how to solve with this problem. Microsoft info said "Do nothing". After this error computer reboots and it is repeating after 30m-1h doing something in windows.
Founded this error, and they said to change page files size and to install all new drivers. I did it and started to have anouther trouble :
My computer just freezes. I don't know what summons this, but the picture on the skreen just stop to refresh... numlock doesen't work and musik too stops. And no message of the error in Event Viewer .
My computer isn't overheating, that trouble i've solved(cleaned computer from dust and put some oil into bad-working cullers(err... maybe fans ...). Now my temperature is 37 on motherboard, 48 on proc(... Intel 4 processor), 38 on videocard(putted one more fan(culler)), and 45 on HDD.
Help me to solve this trouble plz. I need some fresh ideas...
I have 2 variants - the motherboard incorrectly works(RAID controller. This motherboard trouble) or my HDD is really crushing(MANY of damaged files vere moved in CHDSK utility)

Start, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Event Viewer, System and right click any RED Error message(s) and find the 1003 item and report the other data there.

OK. And it is often suddenly reboot's and then "Error loading operation system". turning power off>on(not just simple reboot) helps.
But it is NO any RED error messages from this random reboot(befor reboot i've played WarCraft 3 - don't think that it can really overheat my PC).
The last reboot was 1 or 2 minutes ago.
The last error message was 3 hours ago.

If so, in Device Manager under Computer does it show as an ACPI Multiprocessor cpu?

If not, what is the description there?

Yes, in device manager it is ACPI Multiprocessor CPU.

Then I think you are going to have to attach the last 2-3 mini-dumps for the experts to look at.

If you are set up for them, they'll be (usually) in C:/windows/minidump.

Either or both of these could be causing or contributing to the problems: did the problem start after you did either? Which? Installing SP2 requires preparation of the system BEFORE the installation.

I don't do minidumps, so I'll leave that to CCT.

Problem started when i bought my PC. The firs problem were when "the file is corrupted" when i was using RAID(two Barracuda 80 GB HDD. Now disabled putted off power and data cabel in second HDD(there i store some files, like archive)). On other PC this HDD work well without any bugs and corrupted files. And without RAID it works without "corrupted files" but often needs to run CHKDSK.
Founded some more errors. New =)
For the error "Stop 0x00000077"
CHKDSK - runned. Stopped at 5-th stage(Cheking free space).
Antivir - runned. founded 3 viruses(Trojan at disk volume info), but crushing on 60-70%, and i don't know why. Some of erros 1003 - because of antivir.
For Error code 10000050 :
1. Can be. But i have the newest drivers... But motherboard still can do not work correctly.
2. All tests on memory were fine and there was no troublels with memory(Everest 4.5)
3. I've had Windows 2000 sometime. The same but a little bit rarely on that time.
4. Can be and i knew that my HDD works fine. It's about SATA RAID Controller . I've need to find IDE HDD and test it. But it is hard to do.
5. Installed all updates from microsoft update. Bug's were and without this updates.
6. Kaspersky Antivir? No, really, cannot be. I've tryed to have the system without antivir - and the same were happened. But the system were crushed both from unknown errors and viruses.
7. Don't know ...
About WinXP SP2 > installing procces :
1. updates at microsoftupdate(don't want to download SP3. It is laggy and i can't download it...)
2. Installing, sound and video drivers(motherboard and bios is already at the newest drivers), DirectX(9.0c March 2008)
3. Installing caspersky antivir
4. Some needed files(MS Office, Adobe Reader and so on)

PS do you need other copy-pasted errors with ID 1003?
PSS tested my videocard for overheating with ATItools 0.26 . 40 min of test = really hot videocard, but without any artifacts(grafical bugs) and without redusing in FPS. Founded that i haven't got temperature "seeker"(bad english =( ) on videocard, and i can't see temperature. So i've just touched fan(not-the working part. Iron part of fan) at videocard and it is about 60-70 C at the end of test.
Founded simillar problems without any solution...

I am NOT a dump fellow but the first two of those mention file csrss.exe and klif.sys (the latter is a kasperky file).

The remaining three all point to bad memory.

So, start cycling your ram sticks and test operate or, if you can stay running long enough, make a Memtest floppy and run it.

edit: The last three mention EITHER a paging file or disk controller issue for the memory corruption cited.

Maybe the kaspersky crash files are from scanning -> I've cheked my PC for viruses and it's crashed at the moment of scaning. So just not-to use kaspersky scanning -> i've have other types of defence, and viruses won't work without my agree.
PS tommorow will run memory test's and see what will happen. If the system will crash during the test -> will see what to do next.

Got to wonder how old the system is. But I see you mention Windows 2000 so it's not new, right?

When did you first get the computer? Was it new? Did you ever contact the manufacturer about this? You mention getting new drivers. Somewhere in your information I get the idea that you did a major upgrade on the system- its that correct?

No, the computer were new. I've contacted to my support center(the place were i bought the computer, reason - about "Error loading OS", and they said that it is overheating because of dust. But it isn't chang anything. For about half of year it is worked well(with rarely error loading OS, that can be easy solved by turning power off>on). I've tryed to call some specialist, but thay can't do anything. It were working for a mounth or two and than again the system fully crashed.
Now I can solve the re-install Windows problem by myself.
I've installed Windiws 2000 because I've hope that it will work well(it was after Windows XP or SP1).
And now i've just want to know what is wrong in my computer.
I think that a problem is in RAID controller OR with my HDD (one of specialists said that he readed about my motherboard and the RAID controller doesent work correctly and all troubles are in there). But it is silly to upgrade this PC, i will just buy new one.

Sometimes, when people say 'I reinstalled the operating system', many of us trying to help assume that the person doing so knows what they are doing.

So, we don't ask questions like;

--do you know enough about your motherboard Bios to determine how to configure Sata drives as IDE or to be able to load Sata drivers if you are going to run AHCI or Raid?

-did you install the chipset drivers right after the install and before any other drivers?

I am at a loss to sort through this. You've had the computer for 5 years and you say you're had the problem since you got it. To me, that sounds like a defective system. But you did have Windows XP and you did reinstall with Win2K and you did say you got all the new drivers.

I think that may be right, but it has been compounded by 5 years of use and a change of OS. I don't know if there is enough salvageable to save the system.

Yes, i've installed RAID 0 driver to my machine with 2 HDD(after the 4th or 5th fully system crash). Floppy disk with raid0 driver is over my back in "toolbox".
If i really need to do this - i will do this. Just give me a manual, better - in Russian, or a pointer where to find a good manual(intel.com. need to stop, or i will really read the manual and will knew how to do that ).
INF_allOS_9.0.0.1011_PV.exe << Specially found new driver for motherboard(freshly installed). In archive HDD i've had anouther one(but also INF_allOS). In detailed download version of this driver is simmilar to my archived. Will test it.
PS really i'm not a specialist in installing Windows, but on my computer i've know enough to install it right.

I will change my PC for a new-one in a couple of weeks... But i just want to know for 99% sure what is really wrong with my PC(and if it fixable - fix it and use for progs like torrents and other, that can be runned in passive mode). This information can be helpful, and i will have some expirience in troubleshooting my PC.

tested my RAM with Memtest 2.8. About 1h testing time = 0 errors. The RAM is fine.
Video card is also OK, I've tested it for overheat, and the best way to overheat it is to give it some work... 0 errors.
PS I think that reboot were caused be paging file(and corrupted HDD or my SATA\RAID controller). Because when i tabbing from War3 to explorer it lags, and if i will do it to often - it will reboot. How can i test paging file to be certain about troubles with it? And if I will turn off paging file how i can optomize my RAM to get best results?

As for Memtest it needs to run a minimum of 7 passes, some say 10. Sometimes one will not receive errors until the 5th pass or so. I speak from personal experience.
