Annoying Boot Up Error

Windows Vista Home Premium, 32 bit.

Hi guys, one night I randomly started recieveing this error when I boot up. It doesn't happen always but it seems to happen quite often now!

This is the exact message I receive regarding the error. I would like to know what is causing this and how I can fix it! Thanks so much I will be urgently awaiting a reply.

As per Microsoft your error is 0x116: VIDEO_TDR_ERROR (the BC Code: 116 tells us the error number)

The VIDEO_TDR_ ERROR bug check has a value of 0x00000116. This indicates that an attempt to reset the display driver and recover from a timeout failed.

Are you running Vista? And do you have an Nvidia graphics card or onboard video? There is some information on the web that there can be conflicts with these two.

If not, the error still indicates issues with the dispaly driver. Try uninstalling and reinstalling your drivers or update.

okay thanks, i realized that this happened after I installed the new drivers for my mouse could this be the problem?
