System Error 1003/BSOD

Hello All,

I seem to be having trouble figuring out why I keep getting "blue screened" every once in a while. Here is the information I have collected so far:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: System Error
Event Category: (102)
Event ID: 1003
Date: 4/2/2009
Time: 9:55:18 AM
User: N/A
Computer: 07ISD6470ZYY
Description:
Error code 1000000a, parameter1 fffffffc, parameter2 000000ff, parameter3 00000001, parameter4 80541d8f.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at

Unfortuately, because I already uploaded some of the minidumps to another thread, it would appear that I can not upload them here. The other thread is:

showthread.php?p=739921

Since I do not have enough posts yet, I can not submit the link so I have just included the thread number.

Thanks,

jstehlik

hey jstehlik

Test your RAM using memtest ... www.memtest.org .... also try updating your system drivers.

I read your minidumps and 4 out of 5 definitively cited the driver SysPlant.sys which belongs to Symantec CMC Firewall.

Thanks to both of you. I appreciate your time and efforts.

Route44, would you be able to explain how to read the minidumps? What tool(s) and such? tks

Spyder_1386, I have in the past checked the memory, but I will again. tks
