ATI 4830 with a Biostar MCP6PB M2+ M-ATX Motherboard

Hey,

First off I want to say what a great forum you have here!
Ok, so my question is whether a ATI 4830, specifically this one,

MSI R4830-T2D512 OC (Find it on Newegg) (First post, no links allowed...)

will fit onto this motherboard,

Biostar MCP6PB M2+ (Find it on Biostars website)

I currently have a Mid-Tower and will be getting a new Corsair 450W PSU so that should be no problem. Anyways thanks so much for your input!

HI ghavekost,
yes the 4830 will work with that board, all that is required is a pcie slot, and the Biostar MCP6PB M2 does have one. don't worry about the pcie v1.0/ pcie v2.0 ....2.0 are backwards compatible with pcie v1.0 interface. confirm that this is your motherboard (to make sure i looked up the right one )

Hey thanks so much! And I did some more research and both the GPU and MOBO are both pci-e 2.0

Anyways, thanks for the quick reply!

You might have to find a different one. That card is no longer available on newegg.

I'm actually buying this in Europe, and I just used Newegg as an example because it seems to be the popular place for PC hardware. Infact, about 3 minutes ago, I just bought the card! I'm soooo excited.
Thanks again for your help and concern!
