I get Blue screen at shutdown
I recently Installed Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit with SP1. Everytihng works fine except when i try to turn off PC, before it's turned off, i get Blue screen that doesn't say anything and then after 3-4 seconds PC restart's. I can only use Power button to turn it off (that will damage hard disk). When i turn it back on, i get this massage from windows:
"Windows has recovered from unexpected shutdown" When i click details i get this: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: BlueScreen OS Version: 6.0.6001.2.1.0.256.1 Locale ID: 1033 Additional information about the problem: BCCode: 44 BCP1: 84C67B46 BCP2: 00000E7A BCP3: 00000000 BCP4: 00000000 OS Version: 6_0_6001 Service Pack: 1_0 Product: 256_1 Files that help describe the problem: C:\Windows\Minidump\Mini081409-04.dmp C:\Users\Srdjan\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-32796-0.sysdata.xml C:\Users\Srdjan\AppData\Local\Temp\WER9E62.tmp.version.txt Read our privacy statement: http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?link...3&clcid=0x0409 When i go to Minidump i get some wierd letter's that don't mean anything, and i can't copy that here because it's too long and my PC freeze's. And when i go to "C:\Users\Srdjan\AppData\Local\Temp\WER9E62.tmp.version.txt" i get this: Windows NT Version 6.0 Build: 6001 Service Pack 1 Product (0x1): Windows Vista (TM) Ultimate Edition: Ultimate BuildString: 6001.18000.x86fre.longhorn_rtm.080118-1840 Flavor: Multiprocessor Free Architecture: X86 LCID: 1033 And when i go to "C:\Users\Srdjan\AppData\Local\Temp\WER9E62.tmp.version.txt" there i get some very very long text that i don't know what it means. I can give you just start of the document: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="Unicode" ?> <SYSTEMINFO> <SYSTEM> <OSNAME>Windows Vista (TM) Ultimate Professional</OSNAME> <OSVER>6.0.6001 1.0</OSVER> <OSLANGUAGE>1033</OSLANGUAGE> <ARCHITECTURE>0</ARCHITECTURE> <PRODUCTTYPE>1</PRODUCTTYPE> </SYSTEM> <MEMORYDIAGNOSTIC> </MEMORYDIAGNOSTIC> <DEVICES> <DEVICE> <DESCRIPTION>AMD K8 Processor</DESCRIPTION> <HARDWAREID>ACPI\AuthenticAMD_-_x86_Family_15_Model_47</HARDWAREID> <SERVICE>AmdK8</SERVICE> <DRIVER>amdk8.sys</DRIVER> </DEVICE> <DEVICE> <DESCRIPTION>ACPI Fixed Feature Button</DESCRIPTION> <HARDWAREID>ACPI\FixedButton</HARDWAREID> </DEVICE> <DEVICE> <DESCRIPTION>Programmable interrupt controller</DESCRIPTION> <HARDWAREID>ACPI\PNP0000</HARDWAREID> </DEVICE> <DEVICE> <DESCRIPTION>System timer</DESCRIPTION> <HARDWAREID>ACPI\PNP0100</HARDWAREID> </DEVICE> <DEVICE> <DESCRIPTION>Direct memory access controller</DESCRIPTION> <HARDWAREID>ACPI\PNP0200</HARDWAREID> </DEVICE> <DEVICE> <DESCRIPTION>Standard PS/2 Keyboard</DESCRIPTION> <HARDWAREID>ACPI\PNP0303</HARDWAREID> <SERVICE>i8042prt</SERVICE> <DRIVER>i8042prt.sys</DRIVER> </DEVICE> Everything furthure is the same, just other hardwares and devices are shown. Im not sure but i think i didnt get this before i installed sp1 for Windows Vista. |

Question: When you shut down do you have USB devices attached? If so, unplug your USB devices just prior to shut-down and tell us if your issues persist..
