Need to upgrade my computer for best gaming performence

My cousin build me a computer from scratch and it's pretty outdated and I got into gaming so I need the best. I was wondering how to do this. Basically all I know is that I need better parts (i know im a newb).. So where do i start? And suggesting parts would be awesome.. keep in mind that I ain't a rich kid who can afford everything so keep it reasonable

alright, could you post your current system specs?
processor, ram, PSU, GPU, etc.

How much do you want to spend?

and are you just upgrading your current pc, or building a new one?

Can you confirm your motherboard is AGP, and "PSU" means power supply, that would be good to know too.
He doesn't have one .

as hellokity said i supposedly don't have a video card which is a must have for gaming I imagine.. and about that AGP thingy *whatever that is.. i don't know how to confirm but i can tell you i got those info from "run" (i forgot what i typed) so its probably accurate. and budget is whatever just not too over the top as in 4+ grand, cause im playing on saving up so it's no rush, so if you know theres a good part coming out soon then i could wait. Thanls a lot guys in advance

also if you want a affordable gaming rig with a lower price, thats do-able.

like a good amd build can dominate most games on high settings.

it mostly depends on your graphics card.

(if the prices scared ya)

Booman.
if you have that budget, and buying around December. Intel's road map has the 32nm Icores coming out at that time. at the same time the ATI/AMD DX 11 cards will be arriving. I am timing my next build based on this as well.

your computer cant even handle world of warcraft

but if you want you can buy a mid-end video card.

check what slot you have, this should help.
