Welcome to TechSpot

There are a few possibilities here:
- it may be that your CPU-cooler is too tight on the CPU
- you may have an Audigy card installed
- you may need an updated BIOS
but the most likely candidate is a too weak powersupply.

For future reference, please fill in your computer-specs under "user cp" (at top of page).

Hello-
I have checked to make sure the heat sink is not too tight-
I don't have a Audigy card installed-
I flashed the bios with the latest version-

I am going to grab a new power suply today and give that a try.
Thanks for your help realblackstuff

Make sure to get a brand-name PSU, like Enermax or Antec.
If you plan on any expansion soon, get one around 500-550Watt.
Otherwise 400-450 will do fine.
