UT2004 freezes during gameplay
Unreal Tournament 2004 freezes while I'm playing two minutes into the game. I get a black screen and my computer goes "rrrrrrr", so I have to restart it. I used to get a blue screen with little lines on it and no message saying which driver was causing the problem, so I'm kinda stumped as far as what's causing the problem.
All my specs are in the attachment. |

Post your system info. But I'd say you probaly should update all your system drivers, video, audio and motherboard. Also make sure you have the latest patch for the game.

I didn't know exactly what to post, so I just posted what looked important. I don't really know where to go to update my drivers. I've gone to the ATI website and updated by display drivers to 9.8, but I still have this problem. I tried updating my processor once, but it made my computer get a BSOD when it tried to start, so I had to boot in safe mode and do a system restore, so that didn't work. Any other suggestions? And I do have the latest patch for the game. |
