Asus EeePc freezes at "Windows is starting up..." screen
Hi, I have an Asus EeePc 904HD I think.

I picked up a virus about 2 weeks ago and since its been running a bit hit and miss. Today it froze on the windows is startin up screen, if I try safe mode etc it still freezes at that screen.

Its on XP.

Any help or ideas how to get past it?

Please read 8-step Virus Removal and download the Programs requested in the thread, then post the logs after you have run scans. The 3 most important software's we would like you to download is Malwarebyte's, SUPERAntiSpyware, and HijackThis.

I cant download any of those programs because it freezes before windows starts
