Mouse problems at start up
mouse freezes up on boot completion,usually at same point. tried three different same results. any suggestions on how to address; get to control panel etc

Unplug the mouse, start system, and use keyboard to navigate. Remove all mouse software found (often listed as "ipoint", setpoint", etc.). Restart, once windows is running, plug the mouse back in, windows should detect it and install the basic drivers.
