Help choosing the right gaming PC

Hey guys, I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any good gaming systems for around £750. Would be nice if it can play things in HD, and also if anyone can recommend a monitor for it too. Also got a few questions

What kind of games it will be capable to play e,g Crysis? CoD ?
What kind of specs I'll be looking at? ( Don't know a lot about computers, would like to know what I'm looking for! )

If you buy a new LCD display a recommend this: Fujitsu Display SL3230T
It has TCO certificate that means well quality and eco friendly, and 2x HDMI input and cheap.
