Crash and freeze

hello i have alienware m17x its new i don't use it much i bought it like 1 year ago but i start using it 1 month ago it keeps freezing and some times i crash when i am playing a game i got sli 260 g force and 4 g ram but the game i am playing don't need more than 1 ram and sometimes it crash while i am on the desktop while chatting or just checking my emails

Hi there zam, can you post us the minidump files? To get to them go to start, computer, local disk, windows, and minidump. It could help us narrow down whats causing you're problems.

thanks for replying but i opened the minidump file and its empty

Hi Zam,
try updating your video cards drivers. Go to the Nvidia support website and download and install the latest driver for your operating system 32-bit or 64 bit. Also, make sure you have installed all the Windows Updates
