Browser slowed down... SP2 or HiJack?

I have a 2G Dell system with 512M ram and plenty of free storage. It used to be quick on the internet browsing with IE. Lately, it is really slow... only browsing. I use Adaware SE faithfully and have MacAfee 7.0 enterprise on all the time along with Zone alarm and I am behind a router. I feel pretty safe but something feels like it is affecting speed while browsing. It is acting differently. Oh yea... I upgraded to SP2 as well lately.

Here is my HJT log. Any thoughts? I am stumped!

Thanks so much everyone.

Steve

Welcome to TechSpot.

Your log does not indicate any of the regular nasties, except a small influx of "red".

Boot in safe mode and run HJT on its own.
Let it "fix" ALL of your R0 and R1 entries.

Reboot in normal mode. D/L and install Firefox from www.getfirefox.com
Clean out all temp. internet files from IE as well as all of its cookies.
Use IE only for Windows updates from now on, otherwise use Firefox.

You may need to do a CHKDSK and a DEFRAG on your harddisk to make it quicker.
