Search engine trouble!
I have been having some problems recently when I attempt to search any of the popular search engines (Yahoo, google, lycos, etc.) the window freezes and a narrow window appears in front of my search results with the title "sponsered links" :hotbounce . It has links for other search engines with previous searches listed and several companies that may have a similar item to what im searching for.
It has become a real pain and is slowing down my searchs to a crawl. Is there anything I can do to get rid of this? :hotbounce It first started last saturday while I was on google. if it helps any I have an XP OPS and and use dial-up. |

It sounds as though your computer is infected with spyware etc.
Take a look at this thread by RBS it should help you. http://www.techspot.com/vb/topic17297.html Regards Howard

I have downloaded all of the programs that it recommended and this has not solved my problem. Also those spybots that I get rid of simply return and ADAWARE stoped working today.
