Has Your Browser Been Hijacked Lately?
Lop.com's drive-by download marketing tactics irk some surfers.

You can get "Lopped" at dozens of web sites. By accepting the software download, perhaps inadvertently, your browser's home page and default search engine are switched to Lop.com, as are any "404 Page Not Found" browser errors. Dozens of new bookmarks or favorites point you to Lop.com subsidiaries or partners. And landing on Lop.com triggers another flock of pop-up and pop-under ads.

C2 Media says it can't understand what all the fuss is about. "It's just an adware company."

In fairness, Lop.com also provides an uninstall program to rid your PC of C2 Media software. http://lop.com/help.html
