Pioneer DVR-108 not picked up in BIOS or Windows

Hi all... i have a little problem, my Pioneer dvr-108 is not being picked up in BIOS or Windows and i have put it in primary on my second IDE channel. Anyways if any of you smart people can help me i would really appreciate it.

Did you also set the jumper on the back of the drive to Master?
Try a (nother) 40-pin IDE-cable, 80-pin won't work.

thanks very much it was after all the cable... i replaced it with a 40 and it works fine.
