Norton won't delete detections.
I have a two stage problem with Norton. First, when I run asystem scan, 3 or 4 things pop up to be delted. When i try to delete them, it says deleted failed. I don't understand why.
Second, when NOrton tries to delete and "inbound threat" when I'm on the web, it has this thing called Bloodhound.Exploit.8 - It is either "Access to the file was denied" or "unable to delete." I can't figure out how to stop/delete these things. What should I do? Short of dumping Norton, because I think it does a bang up job otherwise. |

You can always try deleting them in Safe Mode, this should ensure that they are not in use and can be deleted.

Also, when you do that, clean out your Prefetch folder and have System Restore turned OFF, otherwise those nasties might come back.
