Problem by viewing photos from the techspot page!

Does someone has the same prob like me?
I tried out to view my uploaded photos with different browsers.
Mozilla Firefox, Opera and Intrnet-Explorer 6.
No-one of them will show me the pics of your gallery.
I get only some black and empty boxes!

Does someone know this problem?
Or will the photos beeing checked, before they are accessible for
the users of this page?

But otherwise, the other pics won't be shown as well!
I get the same empty, black boxes....

I can see the images you uploaded just fine, it must be a problem on your side...

The images are not authorized by any mods before coming online, it should work instantly.

Ok, after playing with Firefox's settings, the gallery works now. It needs Techspot as referrer, I had disabled referrer sending.

Hi there.
Puuh! Hard work today!

Hmmh, i tried out changing the settings for 'referrer sending',
but it's still not working (it was enabled!).
I changed the settings of 'third-party-cookies' but that also
took no effect!
I checked the settings of my firewall (Kerio Personal 4
actual beta-version) and tried some changings - crap! - no effect!
Still black empty boxes.....

What else can i check? Any more suggestions?
I will get rid of that soon

I've got the same problem. In Firefox, Opera and IE, no matter what settings I use, I can't see the pictures. When I use Maxthon, no problem. I've also tried different firewall settings, to no avail, but it looks like if it was my firewall, then Maxthon would not work either.

It is related to some firewalls, read Npf 2003.

Hmmh, the problem is still existing.
But i found out, i have to deactivate my KPF4 -firewall.
Then i get the Pics shown correctly.
But no changings on my firewall-settings will fix the problem.
So i have to live with de-/-activating the firewall,
if I wanna watch photos on techspot.

Thx a lot, Mictlantecuhtli.
You were right with the firewall!

I'm using Zone Alarm Pro firewall, and I unchecked "Remove private header information" in Privacy Settings and I can now see the pictures.

This is odd. Yesterday the gallery worked for me in opera 8beta and in firefox 1.0.2, today it won't work in either. I don't think I changed anything. It looks like I'm not logged in anymore when I enter the gallery, so I login, and it says sucessful, but it still acts like I'm not logged in.

Looking at the Gallery, this is what I get:
All pictures say: no thumbnail and when I click on them I get:
Warning: mysql_fetch_row(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /var/www/html/gallery/showphoto.php on line 56

I assume this is a web-page error!

I was right: the source of those pages is like this for all photos:
<a href="http://www.techspot.com/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/533"><img border="0" src="http://www.techspot.com/gallery/images/nothumb.gif" alt="http://www.techspot.com/gallery/data/500/thumbs/THEFATHEROFCONF1949.jpg" /></a>

All photos point to this nothumb.gif, not the real PHOTO, and the alt= should be the NAME of that photo, not the FILE

Somebody please notify the management!

We already know, it was an upgrade that Julio did that failed, I have restored the backups from MySQL so it's up to him to re-run the upgrade now...

But just like us all he does not have an infinite ammount of time at his disposal ;-)
