Hi,

I am not new here ive participated in many discusions and have been trying to solve that problem that keeps occuring in my pc for about 4 months.Yet no change.


The pc i have is :
Assus P4p800SE
with all inbuilt network sound etc.
i have a nvidia geforce 4 MX 64 bit graphics card
512 ram

i also recently installed tv tuner card and a new LCD flat screen but the error was occuring even before this.



These are things what i have done:

Ive installed all drivers that i am aware of that i have.
NO yellow marks in device manager
Ive changed and installed microsoft xp home and xp pro service pack 2 around 2 times home and 10 times pro.No change

IVe bought tons of new programs because i thought maybe it was programs.I have tiny destktop firewall as my curreent firewall and kaspersky but i dont think its them.
i have already researched over 100 websites about this error and am still not sure what to do.

I have also recently cleaned all the dust in my pc which was a llot and completly now its clean.I thought mayeb its dust.Btw the pc is only 1 year old.


The error i get after removing the box in auto restrat is IRQL _NOT_LESS_OR EQUAL.

the error i get in manage event viwer is

event 1003 catagory 102

Set the correct memory timings in the BIOS per the manufacture's specs for the memory modules in your system. If you have multiple memory modules, are they identical?

thx soo much for replying.what do you mean set and how could i? would it change something? how ever i did change bios after i moved to india after that it started happenning maybe thats it.

thx man.I just started havin this when i got to india.. lol.. changed bios only

man i have looked at that its relavent and there are suggestions.How ever my problem is different for example my event is 1003 and catagory 102.How do i know which timings my ram has and how do i change them in bios.I am a advanced user and trust me ive a tried most of the things said.I hope its not harware and i doubt that it is how ever its always good tocheck.

If there is any method by which i can find out please tell me or try to find because my efforts so far have failed.

the timing to change will be cas timing before doing that have u tried the memtest sugeted in that post try that and check it before fidling with ur ram timings!!!!
