Ok, I have this weird problem on my microsoft word 2003. It is, when I start the office word and began to type out anything, and in about a minute it stop my cpu, NOTHING response. I move my mouse but on the screen it isn't moving. I press Num Lock and no light appear on/off. I waited for like 5 min and its still the same. Therefore I restart my cpu. I don't want this to happen all the time like this because it's killing my computer. Anyone know a solution to this??? Please help!

btw, I think it is my memory problem...I don't know. Also when I bought this 2 years ago, it was linux, but I change it to xp

Window xp sp2, 256 ram, 8mb vid card, manufacture: great quality(I hate it)

Open the PC and check that all the fans are running. Clean them out, there's probably a colony of dust-bunnies living there!
Check that all cables are properly connected. Reseat the RAM and all your PCI cards.
And maybe get a better videocard after that.
