When i try to play jedi 2 outcast i get : could not load open gl or somthing like that heres exactly what it says:JK2: v1.02a win-x86 Mar 4 2002

The trident card may simply not function well in open GL games I had a friend that had the same problem. his only remedy was to get a cheap geforce 2 card.

Ah, it's a laptop, no wonder...
The problem is that your dear Trident is not a 3D Accelerator , and iss' point about the getting of a GF2 kind of proves this...the GF2 is a 3D Accelerator ![]() Or it could be that you don't have the latest drivers, and all that is just ill-conceived mumbo-jumbo. |

I have known a few folks that purchased trident blade or tnt2 based cards which claimed to support open GL but they never could get them to work on the newer open GL based games like JK2. they would get the same error message that fuk is getting.
I dont know for sure but I would suspect that their claim to support open GL is based on support for the older open GL standard and not the latest one which all the newer games are coded for. |

Laptop graphics card
What graphics card do u recomend for a laptop???

I don't think you can change your graphic card on a laptop as easilly as on a desktop. Often the card is integrated to the mainboard which means changing laptops wouldn't be the only way to get a new VGA card.
