How do you run ipconfig/all
Whenn i try to run ipconfig/all I get error message "windows cannot find command". ipconfig opens but immediately collapses or crashes. What gives?

it should be ipconfig /all (need the space) in Windows NT, 2000, XP, 2003. In 95 and 98 you type in winipcfg |

k, that worked fine but is it 'sposed to collapse as soon as it opens?

collapse, meaning that you were able to get into cmd and type ipconfig /all and then the cmd prompt went away? if so, this may be caused by some sort of malware/spyware or virus.

run the CMD or COMMAND
and inside that enter ipconfig /all you can also use in XP, run 'cmd /k ipconfig all' in win98, run 'command /k ipconfig all' |

Or from Start menu choose Run and type command and hit enter...
Then type the ipconfig command. ipconfig /? will list all the available switches. patio.
