Please help me. Im just a scandinavian girl with no knowledge aboute computers.

well. i have runned memtest for some time (last time 7 houres) but the machine crashes, and i have to start over and over again.I then run memtest86 for 13 houres, no errors.

i went in to "my computer" and changed the settings there. but all that happend was that when the machine crashed it did not come up with a blue-screene. it freezes and a red 3 cm line appears in the top of the screen. and i have to restart the pc myselve.

I have runned diskcheck on C: it told me: filesystemtype = NTFS. Volume is clean and check is kompletet. It was ok.

There is no dust in the computer.

Your CPU is running hot especially if thats the temperature at idle. . Those older MSI motherboards also had faulty capacitors that cause freezes and reboots. If you have the original fan on the processor it may be failing.

Tank you so much for helpng me :0)

Is it the fan failing that leeds to det CPU running hot? So if I buy a new fan it should solve a part of the problem? But how do i fix the MSI motherboard, is it somthing i can bye new too or can it be fixed some other way?

Have a nice christmas. hugz from Northcape
