detecting proxy settings
well i used to use my laptop on the schools net server, jus unplug the lan from another system plug in and away.
but now they done somethin so that when i click internet exp, a page comes up saying proxy settings not valid, please consult admin and aquire them. my laptop is on auto detect proxy settings but still no luck, anyway round this? |

See what the proxy settings are in the other system you just unplugged?
It may also be that you need to authenticate yourself before being able to use the proxy. |

cant do that its a networked pc with extremly limited access
