Help! I was downloading a BIG exe file and my wife closed my laptop!
Can the download be restarted and picked up from the same point? Or do I have to start alll over again?
I was using the save (not run) in the download. And there is an exe file on my desktop. (incomplete, I assume) any way to do this? (I was dowloading the Battle for Middle Earth Demo, in case you were wondering) thanks |

If you were using Internet Explorer, then you might be able to resume, but I doubt it. If you were using Opera there is the option to resume transfer. I'd look into something like that.

Try to download and install Wget for Windows. It should be able to pick up where the browser left off. It's quite a useful tool for getting files from the internet.
