Amd 3400 + clawhammer temperatures

hi.. im new so be easy on me i have recently made a new computer and have an amd 3400 + clawhammer installed. i have a thermaltake venus 12 heatsink and fan. anyway on stock speeds i got idle= 30 load = 40 which to me seemed ok, but upon advice of my friend ive oncerclocked it from 2.2 to 2.37. i now get 34-36 idle and i at load i get 49-50!! im just asking whether it is safe at these temps or should i go back to stock? thankyou for reading

Hello and Welcome to Techspot!

Your temperatures even at overclocked speeds are quite fine.
What you want to look out for are temperatures in the 60+C range.
