internet accelerators work by storing regularly visited web pages locally, so that the entire page doesn't have to download every time you visit it. it would not help at all in gaming. besides "Ashampoo" is more interested in washing hair anyways, hahaha (I know, that was pretty lame, but I couldn't resist )

1.5Mb/s is not the fastest, but its still pretty good.

as far as actual speed goes certain conditons affect your usuable speed. with DSL, your speed decreases the farther away from the station you are, but is not affected by the number of users. with cable, the speed remains consistant reguardless of the distance from the station, but decreases with the amount of users on at once.

cable has faster overall speeds (for example I have 6Mb/s from comcast), but since it's not available in your area yet, 1.5Mb/s DSL is probably the best you can get (but don't worry it should be fast enough)

It will take a couple of hours, mostly 2-3 hours. Maybe less if u get it done. Good luck with it anyways

newegg usually ships the day after you order. the transit time is dependant on the shipping carrier, but should be no more than 3 days.

I always choose fedex express (it always gets here overnight, even though i only pay for the 3 day service ) I assume you used the default UPS ground (3 day select), that doesn't ship by airplane like fedex so transit time will depend on how far away you are from the warehouse it was shipped from.

as far as the build time... if you take your time (and you should!), then your first build should take you a few hours. remember to stay grounded before touching any component.

The wrist strap will ground you. Whenever you are working on your computer, put your wrist strap on and clip the other end of it to one of the internal metal brackets inside the computer case and you will be 'grounded'.

So what does "grounding" do? Also, will there be instructions with the computer or is it really easy to figure out or will i just need to get help with it?

Being grounded keeps you from discharging static electricty into your computer components. A very small amount of static discharge (even lees than you can feel) can potentially damage sensetive parts like your CPU, HDD, Mobo, graphics card, etc...

There may be some instructions that come with each component depending on wether the part is OEM or a retail version. But I would bet someone here has a link to a really good computer assembly guide.

well that's pretty much what it is, it's a simple procedure, it's just time consuming that's all.

most motherboard manuals will come with instructions on how to hook everything up to it

Aside from the little tiny wires to make stuff like your on off switch and the reset button on the front panel (and stuff like sound/usb if you have those) its really just a matter of plugging things in the only place they will fit.

Your motherboard manual is really the only 'instructions' that will come with what you order. And that will be pretty necessary for the power button and reset switch (its marked on the motherboard too likely, but its really tiny).

Well today I made $45 so I now have enough money!
Anyways Here's the Final List of Parts... (Easier for me to keep track of everything )
1. Antivirus Software $15 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16832315020
2. Windows XP Home $88 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16837102059
3. Mobo $65 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813157089
4. Processor $94 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103639
5. PSU $55 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817103935
6. RAM $73 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145525
7. Video Card $139 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814145132
8. Speakers $26 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16836117123
9. Wrist Strap $6 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16899888207
10. Wireless Card $22 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16833328103
11. Wireless Router $55 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16833124010
12. Monitor $80 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824172050
13. Case $33 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811156018
14. Cd/DvD Drive $29 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827106994
15. HD $80 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822148142
16. Fan $8 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811999346
Grand Total ~ $1020 (Including tax and shipping)
Now I have a couple days to plan where to build it, finalize everything, and make sure my parents upgrade the internet... so i have some questions...
1. Am I going to need a seperate fan? (Look Above)
2. Whats a good room to assemble it in? (Do i need a power source? No carpet right?)
3. How many outlets will it need?
4. If a part arrives broken i can return it right?
5. Are all the above parts compatible?
6. Are all the above parts quality parts?
7. Do you have any other advice for me?
Please try and answer my questions and thanks everyone

1. Extra fans never hurt. In your case this can be mounted behind the HD cage to draw cool air into the case.
2. Any room that has good lighting and a decent size table to work on. I doubt your parents would like it if you took over the kitchen/dining room table. Set up a decent card table in a spare room or in the basement and bring in extra lights if you need to.
3. One outlet should be plenty if you use a surge protecting power strip.
4. Yes, just be sure to keep all packing and packages in case you ever need to send anything back. Occasionally items may need to be returned to the manufactuer instead of Newegg.
5. Yes, it appears all of the parts are compatible (and sweet too!).
6. Yup, pretty good stuff.
7. If you ever plan to overclock (and this processor does overclock pretty well) you will need to get some AS 5 thermal paste. If not, then whatever comes with the processor will be sufficient.
7A. Take your time and ask questions! If you need help with something or don't understand the instructions just ask us.

Stay away from building the PC on carpet, b/c carpet is a conductor of static. also take off you shoes and socks, i know its sounds wierd but bare skin doesnt conduct static the way fabrics do.

If you build your own, you will get a decent computer for a lot less than what you would pay for an already built pc. It's also easy to do.
