Need some help with this "little" problem:
(1) Running WIN 2K Pro SP4
(2) Downloaded Java Studio Enterprize 8 and using its InstallShield Wizard
(3) Keep getting an error dialog saying "There is not enough disk space in the install directory. Please free some disk space"
(4) The problem is that in the drive has over 4 Gig of free space so there is no way the file cannot be written to that drive
(5) incidentally, I downloaded and installed Windows latest installer (3.1)
(6) Anyone ever run into this problem and if so how did you resolve it

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure you have enough space???
Check the requirements for Java studio. 4 gigs. is not that big and you must add for other space . For instance, the Temp file has a Limitation built-in as per drive size. If your Temp file has some stuff in it , you may have reached capacity.
Is you page file on that drive?
You can also close any unnecessary processes.

Yups.. type %temp% in run box or command prompt, its opens your temp directory then just press ctrl+a (to paint all that stuff) and then press delete
