Any Cool People here?

This might sound a bit offensive, but... does anyone here besides me enjoy life outside of the big shiny gray box? You know, THE COMPUTER?

I guess you could be forgiven for thinking I don`t do anything else other than Techspot

However, I do like to do other things as well. I often go out socialising. I also like to walk my dog in the countryside and enjoy the peace and quiet.. I`m also a keen football fan and like to watch my favourite team(Liverpool) play whenever I can.

On the otherhand, I guess I do spend far too much time on the old box lol.

Regards Howard

I'm not always online. I mean, sometimes I program, or make web sites, or play a game, or watch a DVD. Sometimes I do graphic design and sometimes I just chat.
Sometimes I have to fix them, I do CAD, and research and learning.

So ya, not ALL my time is spent on the PC. Um, er, wait.............

Oh poop, I'm going for a walk now.......wait, where's my door? The sun.............blinding........................eyes....................

Hmm...I do spend to much time in front of the old box, but I do go to my Youth Group, go out with friends, etc, and now I have a job as well. Yay!

@Howard: Liverpool!!! You disappoint me

Are you doing a study or something? lol

No kids, nobody, just me and my house and my electronics.

Though when not on the PC, I play music in church, I like to play piano and drums and do recording at home. I do a little weight lifting, and weed pulling in the front yard

Nah, not really. I was just wondering if people at TechSpot did more than use the comp. You know, with the typical depiction of a computer person.... a.K.a A NERD!

I pretty much go to work and then come home and waste time on the computer. About 3-4 times a week I run 2 miles on a local walking/running/bike path. I've been doing a lot of geocaching on the weekends recently. So I do things away from the computer, but nothing really super exciting.

I sit in front of a lovely box all day here at work, so I don't do much as much on my computers at home anymore. I am seperated from my wife and I have a fantastic 4 year old son who I love to play with. I also lift weights, play softball, golf, and sometimes basketball. I also enjoy fishing and chillin' by a bonfire with a cold one.

It isn't by choice, believe me. But, having a range of hobbies and a good group of friends has helped considerably! You never mentioned what your interests outside of the big beige box are.

Oh, sorry...well, mostly cause I barely have any friends, and can't really go any damn where (), I mostly spend my time reading magazines like "Popular Science", or "U.S News". I usually watch tv, Comcast channels 29, 32, 34, 55, and 56 (Comedy Central, TV Land, TVOne, MTV, and VH1). Other than that, I don't really have a life outside the big beige box ()
