daveyboy_69, post it here

Or if anyone gets it from him, post it here.

I'm slowly but surely getting to 100% free
In the last few days I have joined 5 other forums, with all information coming back here.

Found this whilst searching about:
24LC16B chip had to be shorted using a different set of Pins (4 & 6) instead of 3 & 6

Up to you, pls let ius know if it works (I can then update the list)

I have tried what I have read while searching the net for over 4hrs and this place seams to have the best ideas and people to help me. Thanks.
if you only need the config password you can download the dst-cd. change or delete the servicetag and the password will be gone.

sorry to say so but you are far far behind todays technology with this...
and for the other tools you mentioned in your post, there are tons of them available in the internet. no need to talk about responsibility here.... anyways thanks for the link. I didn't use it but some people might find one or the other tool helpful

cheers

ok wow that was a completely useless post about nothing helpful..atleast i had and intelligent response to the problems at hand..thanks though..

ps the responsibility part of that was for those who feel like hacking wifi signals and possibly affecting a network maliciously..next time show some tact before inserting foot in mouth nub..

I don't understand this
A CMOS password protected laptop cannot boot any Live CD, unless the CMOS has been set for Cdrom 1st and it's not password protected!

This boot CD cannot help. mscrx response is correct.
You may need to learn a bit more before posting support on CMOS/Hdd Password removal.

Yes Raybay bios passwords can be removed by CMOS resetting only once in a while on desktops more than laptops

Rarely, rarely, and on old or extremly cheap machines and boards only.
I challenge you to name one board made since 2006 that can have the password removed this way. That went out with Service Pack 1

I will not comment this since this place is a tech forum and not a kindergarden

I agree to that but this will not prevent anything from happening. there will always be people who use and others who abuse. thats why I said no need to talk about responsibility.

thats childish and not worth a comment either. you better think about what you say and how you say it next time.

thanks kimsland and raybay for the clarification around bios passwords and so on...
