I got 135, and 'Visual Mathematician' like some others here.

These tests aren't very reliable as if you've seen similar questions before then your score will be higher than if you hadn't. Most of us are good at learning from past experiences, and this certainly helps. Those that spend a lot of time doing quizzes/puzzles (not me, though I do like solving *real* problems) tend to be good at this sort of thing.

Still, its all just good entertainment, so have fun and don't take it too seriously.

XTR: As to not having eaten for 3 days before taking the test, well, we've seen your photo's and don't believe you. You're a non-stop eater judging by those pics. Besides, there is no time limit on that test, and eating usually makes you want to take a siesta (nap) rather than making you more alert. Still that's a pretty good score you got for someone your age though.

XTR's pics ...

XTR - After not eating for 3 days!

126, and I'm a precision processor...

Not too shabby considering English isn't my native language, and there were a coule of proverbs I hadn't encountered before...

I wonder what'd happen if I'd chosen "no" to if I'd ever taken any scientific IQ tests before...

I don't think that doing that particular test under the conditions that we all have is very scientific.

I am sure that there are many people here who scored 125 or above who actually have IQs in the region of 140-170!

I've certainly achieved these scores before and there are plenty of guys here I know for a fact are just as smart.

Um I'm pretty sure that this age thing everyone seems to be talking about, thats included on how the scores are figured, as well as your education level. So if you are 15 and answer the same amount of questions right I did and I'll be 23 Saturday and have completed college your score is going to be higher than mine.

Yay... mine was 122...

We also compared your answers with others who have taken the test, and according to the sorts of questions you got correct, we can tell your Intellectual Type is an Inventive Inquisitor.

You have the unusual distinction of being equally good at math and verbal skills. This means you are a creative thinker and are uniquely good at teaching others through experiences. You are also a great improviser and very good at handling change.

I noticed that there are hidden questions in the test that judge more than your pure intelligence (i.e. math, verbal, spatial, etc) but also in your attitude to your mental abilities.

Its true that more intelligent, well read people know that, as they learn more, they realise how little they do know.

Insightful Linguist - 127.
Although I couldn't be bothered with the number sequences. I'm notoriously pathetic at mathematics

Your IQ score is 127

This number is the result of a formula based on how many questions you answered correctly on Emode's Ultimate IQ test. Your IQ score is scientifically accurate; to read more about the science behind our IQ test, click here.

During the test, you answered four different types of questions — mathematical, visual-spatial, linguistic and logical. We were able to analyze how you did on each set of those questions, which reveals the way your brain uniquely works.

We also compared your answers with others who have taken the test, and according to the sorts of questions you got correct, we can tell your Intellectual Type is a Facts Curator.

This means you are highly intelligent and have picked up an impressive and unique collection of facts and figures over the years. You've got a remarkable vocabulary and exceptional math skills — which puts you in the same class as brainiacs like Bill Gates. And that's just some of what we know about you from your test results.

P66: That description seems pretty close to the truth. Just like Bill Gates, Darth Vader (yourself) was also out to seek world domination. He failed, as did Bill Gates.

This means you are gifted at spotting patterns — both in pictures and in numbers. These talents combined with your overall high intelligence make you good at understanding the big picture, which is why people trust your instincts and turn to you for direction — especially in the workplace. And that's just some of what we know about you from your test results.

Well, at least you have this (i.e. techspot forums) small corner of the world conquered, and under your control.

I'm serious, I eat like every 3 days during summer. I have too much fun... I don't think about food!

I couldn't go 3 days without eating. Maybe you just snack for 3 days, rather than have a proper meal?
Do you also go without sleep for 3 days?

That's not a great road to start going down. I have learned the bitter lesson over the years that the wellbeing of the body and the mind are linked.

I eat about 1.5 times a day. Have done that for years. Usually once every 2 weeks I might eat 2-3 meals. I've only eaten breakfast about 10 times in the last year. In High School I didnt eat breakfast, nor lunch. I just went to the library and slept during lunch .

No no no, I'm serious, I'm just not hungry. I don't even snack. The most I have would be a glass or two of water.

BTW, I still havent eaten since yesterday, about 24 hours ago. I'm fine.

I kinda know what your saying XtR-X. I am never really hungry. I can go days without eating and not be that hungry still. Today the only thing I ate was a P-Zone from Pizza Hut around 4pm. Other than that I haven't eaten anything. Usually I eat once a day with a few small snacks.
