firefox and yahoo default email problem

I wanted the ability to launch yahoo instead of outlook express when i click on email links, so i installed something on yahoos website that gave me the ability to do that, the only problem is i use firefox and when i click on the link it launches IE7 instead of another firefox window/tab. Anyone know how to fix this? I want it to stay in firefox because i have an extension that automatically logs me in and what not, its just more convenient if firefox handles it.

Make sure you have set FF as your DEFAULT browser.
Otherwise, check the parameters/setup of that Yahoo utility. It may not be FF-compatible and go to IE, regardless.
As an alternative, start FF when your PC boots, and leave it open for the duration, then use the FF-extension.
