ide/pci card

Can anyone help me. I have a new computer that has a dvd burner which is connected with sata. My new computer doesn't have ide connections .I was told that you can use a ide/pci card to install another burner via ide connection.

Newegg has them in their hard drive accessories products.

yes you can read manual should be a snap
just may not be able to boot from the pci cd-rom drive
the bios needs to be pci bootable

OK thanks, i did go to newegg and saw them ranging in price from 15.00 up to 60.00. Anything special i should look for?

You don't need RAID and you only need one channel (two is the minimum on controller cards). You do need/want ATAPI support stated. And you should do some research on whether the card supports booting from CD-ROM too.
