Hi everyone,

This is my first time posting on this forum so please forgive my ignorance. I just built this computer a few weeks ago (my first time) and have been getting sporadic BSOD's while playing games. I have provided the mini-dump, from the latest crash, below. I would appreciate any help that you could give me. If you need more mini-dumps, please let me know what to search for in the event viewer as I have not recorded the exact time of each crash.

Error code 100000d1, parameter1 00000045, parameter2 00000002, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 006e0050.

Thanks

Oops, here are the mini-dumps

1st. There is an edit button for your post, you can click that to add more information. Its suggested to do this if nobody has replied yet because it keeps the forums as clean as possible.

2nd. I assume you've updated your video card drivers and possibly motherboard specific drivers since you've posted this in the Device Drivers forum and not Windows OS or even Gaming and Consoles. If not you need to do that.

3rd. You should be looking for anything in the event viewer that is a warning or an error, if you don't know what it means post what it says and we may be able to help.

4th. Have you ran memtest for at least a few passes to make sure you have good RAM?

5th. What type of hardware are we dealing with here, and what temps.

Ultra X2 550W Power Supply
ABIT AB9 LGA 775 Intel P965 Express ATX Intel Motherboard
Kingston HyperX 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 Conroe 1.86GHz
SAPPHIRE Radeon X1950XT 256MB 256-bit GDDR3
2x Western Digital Caviar RE WD1600YS 160GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA
2 Optical Drives
2 120mm case fans

I have updated the motherboard and video drivers. CPU temp is fine. I do not think the graphics card temp. is the issue either as I had the fan cranked to 100% (kept at 40deg C) and still got BSOD's. I have run memtest and it checked out.

Here are some error codes from event viewer:

Error code 100000d1, parameter1 00000045, parameter2 00000002, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 006e0050.

Error code 1000008e, parameter1 c000001d, parameter2 a9cd1e54, parameter3 baccbc4c, parameter4 00000000.

Error code 100000d1, parameter1 00000000, parameter2 000000ff, parameter3 00000001, parameter4 ffdff9c0.

Error code 1000007f, parameter1 0000000d, parameter2 00000000, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 00000000.

Error code 100000d1, parameter1 03ffffff, parameter2 00000002, parameter3 00000008, parameter4 03ffffff.

Error code 000000fc, parameter1 a7044df0, parameter2 1fe89963, parameter3 a7044820, parameter4 00000001.

Again, I appreciate your patience as I am obviously new to all of this.

Thank you.

I don't know what those tell, maybe someone else would. The type of information I was looking for was stuff like this:

Like the user, source, event id.

Well, I just installed a fresh copy of Windows on a separate partition and it seems to be running alright. I left the other partition intact so I can still get to all of my data. Although only one person took interest in this thread, I do appreciate what you guys are trying to do here and am sure that I will end up frequenting this forum on a regular basis.

Thanks.
