SATA hard drive help

alright, so I have a SATA drive, that came in an external and had to be removed, sort of a long story but this means this HDD is out of warranty, anyways the little plastic piece that supports the flat pins on the HDD has broken off. The pins are still there, a bit bent but still intact. This causes the sata cable to be unstable inside the HDD. Is there a way to fix this without say super glue or scrapping the HDD? Thanks for any help.

You might be able to find an identical dead hard drive on eBay and patch it up by switching PCBs (the circuit board on the bottom of the drive, usually exposed).

The problem with that is it doesn't make much sense money-wise and the 'bad drive' you might buy could bad because the circuitry is toast anyway...

Other than that, buying a new drive is probably the best option aside from using home remedies like tape and glue.

Alright, so I checked ebay for a dead hdd and no luck. So there anywhere else that might sell the pcb or a dead drive itself?
