Big problem with Mozilla, Opera, and Netscape

Hello everyone,
Recently i have had a problem with all of my web browsers except internet explorer. Everyone know IE sucks and that mozilla and any other browser is better. For some reason Mozilla and every other browser on the planet stopped working for me and IE is the only thing thats left. When i try to use them they just say that i do not have an internet connection. However when i go to use IE it works... I have tried everything i can think of and nothing seems to work. If you have any feedback please feel free to email me at sendmelotsofspam@silly.person, reply to this post, or IM me on AIM: screen name is krafty1224. I woudl greatly appreiciate help on my situation before i turn to reinstalling windows all together.
Thanks

Are you sure they have permission from your firewall ?

Have you tried emptying caches, histories, cookies etc ?

Maybe fully uninstalling(delete folder as well),then reinstalling ?

Sorry if that`s only general.

Not a good idea to put an email address in forums.

System specs
Yes.

Do you have any software firewalls installed?
What kind of an internet connection do you have?

verify the Options->General-Connection Settings are set to
directly access the Internet

Did you recently update to IE7?
