Help! i can't find a VT8751 USB 2.0 Enhanced Host Controller

i got a copy of winxp home sp2 as a gift, so i figured my old desktop could use it, after getting rid of win2k pro i installed xp, afterward all my usb hubs are usb 1.1 ive been hunting for the driver and cant find it anywhere, if anyone knows where i can find it please let me know! i can hardly function with usb 1.1, way too slow...

That is a VIA chipset. You can find the information you need at

What about this: http://display-and-video.free-driver...s-2000-XP.html

Apparently you have a VIA chipset, which functions as a graphics adapter, USB controller, etc. I think this driver should cover all the functions of the chipset, but before downloading it and running it, can anybody else here on TS back me up on this?

start searching http://www.techspot.com/drivers/ if you get no joy here do a google search by typing in google box, " VT8751 USB 2.0 driver "

Your older motherboard may not support a "VT8751 USB 2.0 driver" unfortunately

no that sucks i cant seem to find it, but it should work because it ran usb 2.0 in 2k pro

but hey i guess i can deal with 1.1 thanks for all the suggestions, if you think of anything else let me know...
