recommended motherboard for Athlon 64 X2 4600+

I am about to purchase this processor and need a recommendation for a motherboard. I have access to Msi, Gigabyte and Asus. I would also like to do some moderate overclocking and heard that the Nvidia chipset was good. Any suggestions are appreciated. By the way; I would like to keep the price under 110.00.

Socket 939 or AM2?

For socket 939 you may as well get an SLI motherboard because they are really cheap. nForce 4 SLI chipsets are good, the best being A8N32-SLI Deluxe from ASUS. I have a ASUS A8N SLI SE and I think it's the best motherboard I've ever had. Only cost me $120 CAD.

For AM2... nForce 570 or nForce 590 chipsets are good... and AMDs own 690 chipset features integrated graphics with dual monitor support, HDCP, and HDMI.

I heard that nForce 550 has some problems... the whole nForce 5 series wasn't so great. That's why they went from nForce 4 to nForce 6 series in less than a year.

Yeah, but Nforce 6 mobos are pretty expensive.

Consider this:

Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe (AM2)

I've heard a bit about this board, and apparently it won Newegg's "Customer Choice" award.

It's amazing how the information of your CPU socket has not been specified yet - even when asked. It would help our recommendations a lot if you tell us what socket you're using.

The Topic of the post told you what socket he was looking for (Athlon 64 X2 4600+).....I would also recommend getting the Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe (AM2) just picked one up to go along with my AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ Windsor 2.6GHz ($200) + CORSAIR XMS2 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 ($168) cant beat that with a stick. Just need a VGA and i will be G2G..Hope that helps.
