Minidump Help
Hi could someone please take a look at the attached minidump file taken from a Windows 2003 server.
We are getting a BSoD with 0x50 etc. I am suspecting it could be an issue with Symantec AV would just like someone to confirm this - someone who understands the minidump file. Thanks. Steve. |

NOrton AV
From the stack trace, I find the footprint of Norton AV. Your version of Norton AV (10.0.1) is unstable. Upgrade Norton AV may resolve the blue screen problem.

Thanks,
That would explain it then - the Blue screen was occurring around the time Backup Exec was running. As a guess i upgraded our Symantec AV yesterday and the blue screen didn’t show itself last night although it has been intermittent anyway. I'll wait it out and hopefully that will resolve it. Thanks again. |
