WinXP - Instalation from HDD - Error

Hello. I have got on partition C (FAT32) folder with WinXP instalation. I boot my computer by USB CD-ROM with Win98 CD. Then I start to install XP (I386/winnt.exe). Instalator copy files, and ask for restart. After restart error occur: bad disk (black screen). Why instalator did not continue after reboot ? How can I run him to proceed the installation ? Sorry if my english is not good.
 
Possible a bad hard drive. Your install partition is perhaps defective.
It could be that your main partition requires a reformat. If you only choice is to use the install partition to run a reformat, borrow a disc of any type to first format the main partition as FAT32, then use the partition version install to reformat the main partition as NTFS file format.
