Hello, My XP computer is completely infected; they changed my desktop picture and homepage; popups keep coming up every second; can't use the internet; system extremely slow. All these in spite of having Norton installed and working. I am posting a Highjackthis log for you to review. Please help!!!

You're currently running a outdated version of HJT, please follow the instructions here on step 4-5: UPDATED 8-step Viruses/Spyware/Malware Preliminary Removal Instructions

Also, norton is crap, please uninstall it here: How to get rid of Symantec, Norton (for good) only after cleaning your system

Please posts your logs as a .txt or .log file instead of Copy & Paste because it takes up LOTS of space

Very Important: Before deciding whether you should clean or reformat your system, go and read this thread HERE and decide what it is you want to do.

If after reading the above, you wish to clean your system, do the following.

Go and read the Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

Post fresh HJT, AVG Antispyware and Combofix logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.

Also, let me know the results of the AVG Antirootkit scan.
