OK! OK! I give up on d620 password help but

I think maby I should try to find another d620 thats the boot order's not locked up put my hard drive in it and try to format/make bootable DST it then put it back in mine.
sound resonable?
or you think it could get even worse
Ive read and read but theres so little info regarding the d620

cool thanx for the vote of confidense and sorry if i might of snapped at ya back in the other thread (I geuss we all did kinda make a mess out of it) any ways im gonna try somthin like this and if it works cool but if it causes any more frustrations than it allready has, rest assured you can expect a very amusing video of the proper way to crack a dell..........with a hammer

That's ok ncoke,
we have gotten so many posts on Passwords for Dell systems, that us "Evangelist's" were getting a little frustrated with the whole situation. I would ask a simple "how was the password put there in the first place?" or "can you prove ownership?" and I would never get a reply...

Removing hard drives is not dificult. Dell should have a document telling you how to do it. Maybe simple as removing 2 screws and pulling it out from front, or it might be under the keyboard

got it!

WoW! it is sooo simple thanx Tmagic650 for kinda steerin me the right way.
Anybody else with D620 bios password issues the answers are right there on dells sight ,you might just need to read the service manual....oops ive said too much.
