How to Recover Missing PST File Outlook 2007 on Vista
All,
I have a customer with a frsutrating problem. He woke up a few days ago and found his Ouutlook 2007 pst file missing. He's running Vista. We can do a search and see the e-mail and other info from the missing PST file but Vista doesn't tell us where it's located. We checked his AppData/local/Microsoft/Outlook folder and there is no Outlook.pst file. Also his Archive.pst is missing. Yet, search is showing his old e-mail. Any suggestions? He's in a panic! His business is on the line. |

the profile area on XP \documents and settings\login-id\
was changed on Vista to \users\login-id\ Outlook PST files (on xp) were in login-id\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\ you may need to force Local Settings to be visible |
