Loc of Epson Scanner driver in XP??

I have twice downloaded the drivers from Epson.com for their Perfection 1200U scanner... Even tho it says it is for XP, my Windows XP Home does not want to recognize it after it is down-loaded... MSFT Wizard says that Epson has not provided a "compatibility doc" ...or something like that...

Anybody had this problem?

Quote:
Windows 98/Me/2000/XP
epson10245.exe - 4.6 MB
This self-extracting file contains the Perfection 1200U/1200U Photo twain driver v5.53A.
Important Scanner must be disconnected from computer while installing.

NOTE
Windows XP Users You will get a Hardware Installation dialog box when you install the scanner. Click Continue Anyway to complete installation.

Windows 2000 Users You will get the Digital Signature Not Found dialog box during installation. Click Yes to continue installation.
