C Caimbuel Jan 29, 2008 #1 My motherboard I am planning to buy is a GIGABYTE GA-X38-DS4 LGA 775 Intel X38 ATX Intel Motherboard. It says is needs a 24 pin power source. Stupid question but will a 20+4 power source work. Just trying to make sure, thank you for any responce.

C Crosscourt Posts: 72 +0 Jan 29, 2008 #2 Yes it will work as the 20+4 were designed to work with either the older 20 pin or the newer 24 pin motherboards. My source though is Gigabyte as I checked it on their website.
