Let it be said once again, "HOLY OVERCLOCK!!!" The performance of the HD 5550 when running at the reference clock speeds set by ATI could be considered disappointing, perhaps abysmal. But that's to be expected from a budget card near the bottom...

For what I would expect the PowerColor PCS+ HD5550 to retail for, a guesstimate price of £65 give or take, you get a very reasonable card, the GT240 I compared it to is probably a little more expensive and this I believe is reflected in the results...
