Our only real complaint about the S200E is the annoyingly reflective screen. Performance and battery life are respectable rather than outstanding, but the S200E offers an attractive, lightweight design and build quality that are rarely seen in laptops costing less than £500.

The 11in VivoBook S200E certainly doesn't look like a budget laptop – in fact its brushed metal finish and slim, lightweight design could give Apple's far more expensive MacBook Air a run for its money. Admittedly, the S200E is slightly heavier than the...

If you're searching for a portable alternative to Ultrabooks or tablets, the Asus VivoBook S200E-C157H is, for the most part, a good choice thanks to its touchscreen, diminutive chassis, and affordable price tag. It is, however, clearly designed to...

Finally months after its release I receive a small touch notebook designed for Windows 8. While the 11inch screen may be a little small for some the touch features work well as you will naturally sit with the screen well within...

The Asus VivoBook S200E looks very promising at first: a surprisingly upscale chassis, a decent port selection, and very good input devices - we wouldn't have expected that from a notebook costing 550 Euro (~$710). One of the interesting aspects of...

Think of this as 70% netbook, 30% touchscreen plaything. Nothing flips out or turns into a stand, but within that standard notebook form you'll find a fine keyboard/trackpad combo plus HDMI, USB 3.0 and SD slots and Bluetooth – all you'll need for...

Who says the netbook is dead? With its 11.6in screen, Intel Pentium processor , and £350 price tag, the Asus VivoBook S200E almost harks back to the brief heyday of the netbook. Take a look at Group test: what's the best netbook? Back in 2008, people...
