Benchmarks: Civilization V, Just Cause 2
The HD 7770 provided decent gains in Civilization V compared to past Radeon cards, averaging 98fps at 1680x1050. That's 25% more frames than the HD 6790 produced and 34% more than the HD 6770. However, it fared 23% worse than the GTX 560. The HD 7750 delivered 76fps, only 4% faster than the old HD 6770 and 13% slower than the GTX 550 Ti.
The HD 7770 didn't meet our expectations in Just Cause 2, offering only 3% more performance than the HD 6790 at 1680x1050. It edged ahead of the HD 6770 by 11% and topped the GTX 550 Ti by 17%, but fell 9% short of the GTX 560. The HD 7750 fared no better with 55fps, 10% slower than the HD 6770 and 5% slower than the GTX 550 Ti.
