Not even close. 7800's blow those 6600GT's out of the water (even if they double team a 7800. :haha: Check out tomshardware.com for some good comparisons of benchmarking and gaming with the setups you are wondering about. (I'm still wanting a 6600GT, despite it's lack of power)

benchmarks have shown that singel 7800GT will outperform 6600GT in sli mode and in many cases, quiet a lot.

Not only the 7800GT will outperform them and be quieter while doing it , you will also be able to upgrade to a second 7800GT after a time, giving you a hefty boost.

So if you're wandering what to get - it's 7800GT hands down.

2 6800 gt's beat a 7800 gt on fear. almost. i guess a 7800 gt would be the best. and in the future when prices go down i could get a 2nd.

Wise choice - it's only one game where they perform faster, and later you can get a second 7800GT which will then provide you a very good boost.
